Lunsford E. Oliver (1889–1978) was an American soldier, who commanded the 5th Armored Division during World War II.
Oliver was born in Nemaha, Nebraska.[1]
Oliver served with the United States Army between 1913 and 1948, eventually reaching the rank of major general.[1]
During World War II he commanded the 5th Armored Division,[2] and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal.[3]
